Jon Eisen

Jon Eisen is the founder of Cumberland Growth Advisors, a capital advisory firm focused on helping business owners and operators navigate acquisitions, real estate, and complex financing decisions. His work blends thoughtful structuring, hands-on execution, and long-term relationship building.

Cumberland Growth Advisors was founded in January 2025. In its first year, the firm advised on and closed more than $14 million in financing across a dozen transactions, including business acquisitions, commercial real estate refinancings, construction lending, and special-situation capital.

Before founding Cumberland Growth Advisors, Jon spent four years as Vice President of Lending at Pathway Lending, where he helped deliver more than $35 million in debt financing to businesses across Tennessee. Earlier in his career, he led business development efforts for an agriculture finance startup, where he closed the company’s largest transaction and gained firsthand experience working with growing, operator-led businesses.

Jon holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics–Political Science from Columbia University. At Columbia, he was a member of the varsity baseball team, serving as team captain and earning All-Ivy League and Academic All-Conference honors — experiences that continue to shape his approach to leadership, preparation, and execution.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and their three young sons and can often be found on the pickleball court.
